Throughout 2016, the Brisbane Chamber Choir in conjunction with St John’s Anglican Cathedral, presents the concert series The History of the Requiem – an exploration of requiem settings throughout musical history.

So far, two of the Brisbane Chamber Choir’s performances in our 2016 season — the Cavalli Requiem and the Sculthorpe Requiem — formed a vital part of this series.

The final concert in that series — featuring requiem settings by Orlando Lassus and Gabriel Fauré, and sung by the combined Cathedrals Singers and the Cathedral Choir of St John’s Anglican Cathedral — takes place at 2.00pm on Sunday 23 October.
